Terms of Use & Community Rules

KocaX Messenger (“the Service”) is an end-to-end encrypted messenger operated by KocaExpress and available at https://kocax.nl. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. There is no tolerance for content or conduct that is illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative (especially any content involving minors), or that impersonates others or facilitates fraud. Accounts that break these rules are removed. By using KocaX Messenger you agree to this policy.

1. Who may use KocaX Messenger

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for the security of your password and encryption keys — because messages are end-to-end encrypted, we cannot recover them for you.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use KocaX Messenger to send, request, or store content that:

is unlawful, or sexually exploits or endangers minors (CSAM);
harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence or hatred against any person or group;
is spam, a scam, phishing, malware, or otherwise fraudulent or deceptive;
impersonates another person or organisation;
infringes someone else’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.

3. Reporting abuse

Every chat has a Report action (open a chat → the ⚙ settings button → Report user). You can also email us directly. Because your conversations are end-to-end encrypted, we can only review the information you choose to include in a report.

Our commitment: we review every report and take action — including warning or permanently removing the reported account — within 24 hours. To report abuse directly, contact abuse@kocax.nl.

4. Blocking

You can block any user at any time (open a chat → ⚙ settings → Block user). A blocked user can no longer deliver messages or contact requests to you, and any pending content from them is discarded on your device.

5. Enforcement

We may warn, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and may remove access to the Service without prior notice where required to protect users. We aim to act on credible reports of objectionable content or abusive users within 24 hours.

6. Encryption & privacy

Messages are end-to-end encrypted; only you and the people you message can read them. We cannot read message content, which is why user reporting and blocking are the primary tools for keeping the community safe. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle account data.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, KocaExpress is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
